People my people… On the sad note today, why do some people feel entitled to public assistance and governing agencies to give you a hand up, year and year again? Public assistance was created for the working poor, hence the word “working” to let you get back on your feet, and not to be used as an alternative career avenue. The land of the free and the land of endless opportunities created a flawed system where it can be abused and manipulated by those who are… I’ll say it… LAZY!!! Generational poverty is now a stereotype. Young girls are having a baby after baby so that they can receive tanf, which is around $535 per baby a month, food stamps and other emergency resources that they fight tooth and nail over, so that they may spend the rest of their young lives on their back with “revolving door” boyfriends who eat up all their food stamps and impregnate them to keep the free money coming. I am so sad to say this; I do not feel for you girls and boys. I do not feel sorry for you. This is the life you wanted and created. No one is holding they key of success for ransom, no one is taking all the good jobs away from you, no one is holding you down. Life and everything you ever wanted is at your finger tips. The first key to happiness is willingness, willingness to fight for your freedom and your happiness. Here comes the clichĂ©, the first step is the hardest and the most important, willingness to go forward to apply for a job, but wait there is a pleasant surprise, it’s only a two step process! The second step is repeating the first step over and over again, until you have reached blis!-J
